This is actually a unique experience, which will require a mindset shift from traditional face-to-face learning to electronic learning platforms. I must say that for those of us here in Pretoria we are at an advantage as we can attend the sessions at the University.

Welcome to my blog! This will detail my experience as a student in the M.IT programme hosted by the University of Pretoria.

The M.IT is a unique Masters programme, funded by the Carnegie Corporation of New York (CCNY), which aims to address the issue of IT management in and the impact of current IT trends on academic libraries.

Twenty librarians have been selected from South Africa, Uganda and Tanzania for participation herein.
